I have been a bus driver for over 23 years.  I started working in the Robla School District in 2017.   I learned to drive a school bus because the bus driving schedule matched the school schedule for my children.  When my kids were at school I would drive the bus.  When my kids were on break, I was off work and could be home with them.  I enjoy driving the school bus, but I love having time off of driving when the students are on break.  When I am not driving, I enjoy shopping and spending time with family. 

   I am originally from Chicago, Illinois and I am a Chicago Bears fan.  I have lived in California for over 30 years.  I have worked for several school districts in the area and for a short time even drove a school bus in Texas.   For a short time, I even drove a luxury charter bus all over the western states.   I recently completed an intensive training to become a Certified Bus Driver Instructor.  Now I can teach others how to drive a school bus.  I recently accepted a new position as Bus Driver Instructor & Dispatcher in the Transportation Department.  I am very excited about my new position.  I enjoy helping my colleagues maintain their bus license and keep their skills sharp.
