Greetings from the Special Services Department!  It is an honor and privilege to partner with a community of educators and parents in the Robla School District who strive to provide our diverse learners with a caring and robust learning experience, paving the way for a rich educational journey.

The 2019-20 school year marks my twenty-eighth year of working within the Robla School District.  Starting my career as a Speech-Language Pathologist, moving to Program Specialist and now Director has brought a deep knowledge and understanding of our students’ needs.  I believe a strong partnership with the families we serve strengthens the learning potential of our students as we prepare them for the future.

I am proud of our highly qualified, caring staff who are provided with continuous professional development to support their efforts in providing a research based, individualized program for our diverse learners.  This includes a standards-based education, specifically designed for the students we work with.  We also understand the importance of fostering social-emotional skill development which is so crucial to a student’s long term success.

Robla School District has an array of services in place across our campuses to offer educational options that best meet individualized learning needs. We also partner with a variety of agencies, surrounding school districts and the Sacramento County Office of Education to provide our students with expanded services and supports.  Our expanded partnerships allow us to provide specialized services that span from early childhood education through all of our elementary grade levels.

We are committed to ensuring high quality services for our students with specialized needs. Questions and comments are always welcome as we all work together to improve the lives of our students and families.
