A Special Message from the Director of Special Services:
Dear Parents, Families and Staff,
As we continue to move through the latest developments and planning around COVID-19, the Robla School District’s Special Services Department would like to assure you that we are in constant monitoring of the situation and working closely with district, county and state officials to ensure the health and well being of all our students. The Robla District’s distance learning plan includes specialized supports for students with special needs and our staff are working hard to ensure our students receive their specialized services to the greatest extent possible at this time.
The Robla District has taken a proactive approach to our current distance learning plan. We are ready to provide a hybrid model of learning when the time is appropriate and looking forward for the time we can all come back to school full time. Until that time, we will remain diligent in our endeavors to provide the very best learning plan possible given the circumstances we are in. We are also committed to ensuring equal access to all students and will make every effort to provide special education and related services as appropriate.
We have resumed IEP meetings. If your child has an upcoming IEP due, staff will contact you regarding meeting times that are convenient for all parties. IEP meetings are being held virtually, however teams can meet in person as requested or as needed. If you have any questions regarding your child's IEP services, please don't hesitate to contact your child's case-manager.
As always, protecting the well being of our students is of utmost concern. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will remain in communication with our Robla families and community.
Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
