The Robla String Project is a program through the
California State University Sacramento (CSUS) String Project that provides carefully structured group lessons in violin and cello for Robla School District students in the fourth grade and up. The lessons are taught by the dedicated and talented CSUS School of Music undergraduate and graduate teachers and supervised by experienced teachers. Classes begin in September and are offered in two 10-week sessions (Fall & Spring).
The Robla School District provides transportation to lessons at Sacramento State University on Monday and Wednesday afternoons as well as offers an additional class at one of Robla's five school campuses on Saturdays ~ this year our hosting school will be Main Avenue Elementary! We have also purchased instruments and we loan them out to students to use while in the program.
