The Robla Strings Program is a program through the California State University Sacramento (CSUS) Strings Program that provides carefully structured group lessons in violin and cello for Robla School District students in the fourth grade and up. The lessons are taught by the dedicated and talented CSUS School of Music undergraduate and graduate teachers and supervised by experienced teachers. Classes begin in September and are offered of two 10 week sessions (Fall & Spring).
The Robla School District provides transportation to lessons at Sacramento State University on Monday and Wednesday afternoons as well as an additional class offered at one of Robla's five school campuses. We have also purchased instruments we loan to students to use while in the program.
Cindi Lyon and Brenda Johnson oversee the Robla Strings Program. If you have questions about the program, please contact them at
[email protected].
The Robla Strings Program is generously supported by the
Robla Education Foundation.
