The Robla Maintenance Department provides custodial, maintenance and grounds personnel to ensure safe, clean, well-maintained, functional, and aesthetically pleasing facilities for students, staff members, visitors, and our community as a whole. This department maintains a year-round work schedule to assure that our buildings and grounds meet local, state, and federal safety mandates.
The Department is comprised of three individual, but closely related groups:
- Custodial - Our Custodians are very busy and happy to serve. They are responsible for the cleanliness of each school.
- Grounds - The groundskeepers in our district take pride in the grounds of the schools they maintain. On any given day they are mowing, edging, spraying, pruning, spreading rock and bark, and completing general grounds clean up.
- Maintenance - We have a small but busy maintenance staff. This group works hard to be a support service to all of the schools and district staff.
A Message from the Maintenance Foreman:
Welcome to the Maintenance and Operations (M&O) Department of Robla School District. I was given the privilege to oversee the M & O department since 2010. This department is responsible for maintaining, cleaning and caring for five elementary schools, plus one preschool center.
My professional staff and I are committed to keeping all district assets maintained in a manner which will promote and stimulate better academic learning. Many in-depth studies point to improved test scores, better attendance with reduced disciplinary actions as evidence that a clean, well-cared for physical environment of a school can make a large difference in student education.
Robla School District has 12 custodial staff, 2.5 building maintenance staff and 2 ground maintenance staff that help ensure a high standard level of care within our school district. This dedication helps promote an environment that is healthy, comfortable and conducive to learning for all.
Our M & O staffs of professionals are committed to providing you with exceptional service and we thank you for your visit.
Sincerely,
Mark Langley
