A Message from the Director:
The Robla School District (RSD) understands fully the need to provide support for all students. Some students require support for short periods of time in order to comprehend a particular skill or concept, while other students require a system of ongoing supports in order to meet the needs presented by certain circumstances in their lives. Approximately eighty-nine percent (89%) of students enrolled in RSD live in poverty. Forty-three percent (43%) of the student population lives in a home where a language other than English is the language of communication and are identified as English Learners (ELs). Robla strives to provide an instructional program to meet the needs of these students and all students who are underperforming academically.
Our goal is to teach students the academic language and literacy skills needed to perform at grade level and for ELs to be redesignated by the 6th grade or before. In order to meet these goals, we offer a number of supplemental supports both within and outside of the school day.
