Robla School District offers a free, school-based healthcare program for students! Hazel Health will provide our students with quality care without leaving school. Why? Because healthy students learn better. Parents don’t miss work and no need for a bus ride to the doctor’s office (or emergency room). Hazel Health needs no appointment, no insurance, and no immigration check to provide free healthcare to students in school.
Services include:
- Urgent care
- Health screenings
- Patient education
- Provider ordered over-the-counter medication and/or prescriptions
- Referrals to health care professionals, school and community resources
How Hazel Works
Consent
With parent/guardian consent, students can participate in Hazel’s healthcare program.
Connect
When a student is sick, they’ll visit the on-site Hazel clinic. Using cutting-edge video technology, they’ll talk to a licensed healthcare provider.
Care
Care is provided and may include over-the-counter medications given at school and/or prescriptions called in to a local pharmacy.
Contact
Parents/guardians are contacted to explain the visit, medications, diagnosis and recommendations for further care.
