Safe & Secure Schools: Keeping Our Schools Safe

The Robla School District (RSD) is dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing environment for our students and staff. We recognize the importance of safety in all areas of our operations and are actively working to enhance our safety measures.

We'd like to invite you to explore this page's information to better understand our proactive approach to ensuring a secure school community. Your involvement is essential as we work together to promote safety and well-being.

Standard Response Protocol
This School Year, the district has adopted the "I Love You Guys" Standard Response Protocol (SRP), ensuring that emergency responses are uniform, planned, and well-practiced. The SRP clearly defines the five actions to take in an emergency: hold, secure, lockdown, evacuate, and shelter.

Emergency Communications
In the case of an emergency at our schools, please remember to look for official information from the school or district. We deliver messages via school and district websites, ParentSquare, and district social media accounts - Instagram and Facebook.

Please ensure your child’s school has your most current contact information on file – Update Contact Information.

Comprehensive School Safety Plan
In accordance with the California Education Code (32280–32289.5), Comprehensive School Safety Plans (CSSPs) establish the essential framework for all safety practices at school sites. These plans specifically detail emergency procedures, including response strategies and designated roles, as necessary.

Certain plan components, including evacuation maps and the Incident Command Post (ICP), have been restricted from public access for safety considerations.

Visitors & Volunteers
All visitors, contractors, and volunteers intending to enter any RSD Schools must present a valid state-issued identification card. The district's visitor management system (RAPTOR) will scan the identification and verify it against the National Sex Offender Registry. Upon successful verification, a visitor badge will be issued.

Visitors must display the printed badge while on campus. To ensure compliance, any individual found on the premises without an appropriate visitor badge will be approached and asked to return to the front office.

Note: Long-term parent/guardian volunteer process is being updated and will soon provide additional information
WeTip Hotline
The Robla School District encourages the reporting of crimes and suspicious activities. Through the WeTip program, our community can make anonymous reports through a 24-hour hotline. If you or your child wants to report a crime or suspicious circumstance, call the toll-free number, 1-800-78-CRIME. Online Tip Reporting
