Robla String Project

The Robla String Project is a program through the California State University Sacramento (CSUS) String Project that provides carefully structured group lessons in violin and cello for Robla School District students in the fourth grade and up. The lessons are taught by the dedicated and talented CSUS School of Music undergraduate and graduate teachers and supervised by experienced teachers. Classes begin in September and are offered in two 10-week sessions (Fall & Spring). Our District has also purchased instruments throughout the years and we loan them out to students to use while in the program.

The Robla School District provides transportation to lessons at Sacramento State University on Monday and Wednesday afternoons with all students meeting and departing from Main Avenue Elementary ~ This is also where students will be brought back to after the sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays and will need to be picked up from.

Sarah Neuhaus oversees the Robla Strings Program. If you have questions about the program, please contact her at [email protected].

The Robla String Project is generously supported by the Robla Education Foundation.
