About the Department

The Robla Curriculum & Assessment department is responsible for:
  • Assisting the Superintendent in supervising the district’s instructional programs and school services
  • Assist with the preparation and administration of the district’s instructional programs
  • Providing leadership and guidance to curriculum planning, coordination, and evaluation
  • Participating in the selection, recommendation, and adoption of all instructional programs and associated instructional materials
  • Address the needs of all students for the 21st century
  • Provide pertinent professional learning for District and school personnel
  • Supporting new teachers in partnership with Robla Mentors and the SCOE Induction Program
  • Utilizing data days and a data protocol in our monthly Thursday site PLCs to analyze and interpret data to create the next steps with student learning.
  • Leading Teacher of the Year selections from preschool and all elementary schools 
  • Provide CAASPP training and oversight of schools during the CAASPP testing window
  • Provide New Teacher Orientation
  • Lead Teacher Curriculum Institute to set assessment windows and create curriculum mapping
