The Robla Curriculum & Assessment department is responsible for:
- Assisting the Superintendent in supervising the district’s instructional programs and school services
- Assist with the preparation and administration of the district’s instructional programs
- Providing leadership and guidance to curriculum planning, coordination, and evaluation
- Participating in the selection, recommendation, and adoption of all instructional programs and associated instructional materials
- Address the needs of all students for the 21st century
- Provide pertinent professional learning for District and school personnel
- Supporting new teachers in partnership with Robla Mentors and the SCOE Induction Program
- Utilizing data days and a data protocol in our monthly Thursday site PLCs to analyze and interpret data to create the next steps with student learning.
- Leading Teacher of the Year selections from preschool and all elementary schools
- Provide CAASPP training and oversight of schools during the CAASPP testing window
- Provide New Teacher Orientation
- Lead Teacher Curriculum Institute to set assessment windows and create curriculum mapping
