I was a principal for 18 years and am now honored to take on the role of Director of Curriculum & Assessment. My many years of service as a teacher and principal have provided me with an array of skills and knowledge in understanding the necessities to help children have a safe, caring, and nurturing environment, alongside a rich academic experience.
First and foremost, teachers must be supported in the classroom with a safe, clean, and 21st-century learning environment. Teachers will receive critical resources, training, and support to ensure students are able to create, comprehend, analyze, and interpret information as well as develop skills, as they learn in their 21st-century classrooms. Decisions will be based on the most recent data in conjunction with a highly thoughtful plan of teacher inquiry. I am committed to Robla District and the success of our teachers and students and will work to incorporate processes and systems which will facilitate this vision.
