Robla Strings Program

The Robla Strings Program is a program through the California State University Sacramento (CSUS) Strings Program that provides carefully structured group lessons in violin and cello for Robla School District students in the fourth grade and up. The lessons are taught by the dedicated and talented CSUS School of Music undergraduate and graduate teachers and supervised by experienced teachers. Classes begin in September and are offered of two 10 week sessions (Fall & Spring).

The Robla School District provides transportation to lessons at Sacramento State University on Monday and Wednesday afternoons as well as an additional class offered at one of Robla's five school campuses. We have also purchased instruments we loan to students to use while in the program.

STRING Project Dates revised Spring 2024

Thank you to all of the Robla students and parents who make the Annual concerts such amazing events. Also, a big thank you Ms. Richardson and Mr. Gibson for running the program, and thank you to our dedicated bus drivers who helped transport students to CSUS weekly. Winter 2023 Concert

On Monday, December 11, 2023, the annual String Project Winter Concert was held at CSUS Capistrano Concert Hall. The concert featured students from throughout the district performing on their violins and cellos. See pictures below!
